01Product Overview
Our high-pressure ceramic plungers are precision-ground from yttria-stabilized zirconia and are used in pump and metering systems where hardened metal plungers wear, gall or seize.
In typical service these plungers operate at working pressures in the range of tens of MPa. Designs rated up to 150 MPa can be supplied, but the highest ratings require qualified material grades and a dedicated process design and are evaluated against the specific duty cycle and fluid conditions rather than guaranteed as a standard specification.
