Ceramic Classifier Wheels for Powder Processing

Wear-resistant silicon carbide classifier wheels for powder air-classification.

Ceramic Classifier Wheel — Wear-resistant silicon carbide classifier wheels for powder air-classification.

01Product Overview

Ceramic classifier wheels are rotating separation components used in air-classification and fine-powder processing equipment. A hard, rigid ceramic wheel resists abrasion from the powder stream and maintains blade geometry over long runs.

We supply the ceramic wheel component to the wheel and equipment geometry you define. Cut-point and particle-size distribution of the classifier system are not properties of the ceramic wheel and are therefore not quoted as component accuracy; geometric, balance and wear parameters of the wheel itself are.

07 FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you quote particle cut-point?

No — cut-point and particle-size distribution belong to the classifier system, not the ceramic wheel. We quote geometric, balance and wear parameters of the wheel.

Can blades be made to my geometry?

Yes — wheel diameter from 80 to 630 mm and blade/slot geometry are produced per drawing.

Can it be dynamically balanced?

Wheels can be balanced to the specified grade on request, including bore and keyway machining for shaft mounting.
